This retro parody super hero themed card game requires players to defeat 3 villains ravaging Crime Capitol City. Players gain Mutations, Weapons, and Hideouts on their play mat to power up attacks. During an attack opponents can help as a side kick or hinder with a variety of modifier cards such as “Annoying Detective.” Watch out when drawing Final Strike as you may end up fighting another villain instead!
Turn based gameplay consists of two actions that allow players to combine strategies to disrupt opponents (such as passing/stealing cards) or maximize an attack opportunity. The best laid plans can be interrupted by a timely Plot Twist- a counter to most cards and actions in the game.
This strategic party game is for 2-6 players (single player rules available on the game’s website). Players will enjoy the retro graphics, clever card text, and strategy that evolves the more you play.
