This Bard subclass was inspired by history and the years spent sturding it.
Bards of the College of History look to the past in order to better change the future. The are more book smart than world wise and may come across as wizardly to others.
Mechanically you gain proficiency in one new tool and the history skill. Also your bardic inspiration die can grant advantage when a creature fails a save using it. At later levels you gain advantage on saves when you fail a save and can recover your spent bardic inspiration die when they are used.
