Presented here is an updated version of the 5e Bard class including updated mechanics, new features, and subclasses. This updated class addresses the major pain points with the current 5e Bard including an updated version of the Bard's Countercharm ability, more prepared spells, and a more useful and interesting capstone.
Subclasses have all been updated as well with changes indicated in bold lettering. These subclasses are also backwards compatible with the 5e bard. The changes aid in making all of the options presented viable options through updates to features such as an updated Spiritual Focus feature for the Spirits Bard and more Fighting Style options for the Swords Bard to allow for more versatility and ease of use.
