Art, stories, and knowledge. These are the three things in the Multiverse that can be shared with others without losing them yourself, but money can often help obtaining them in the first place. This is the mantra of the College of Gold, the only Bardic tradition that was taught to the smaller races by the dragons themselves, or at least the only one that dragons have admitted to.
A College of Gold Bard seeks out new stories and songs to add to their hoarded repertoire, often sharing them with their fellows as advice and ear wyrms that stick around until the moment they are needed. And a dragon’s tutelage never fails to miss the importance of actual treasure. It is even said that the more wealth and arcana a Golden Bard can accrue, the more they can tap into the draconic powers of the Material Plane, and the less they need to spend on their magic.
The College of Gold Bards are able to give their comrades a choice between a constant buff and an immediate pay out with Hoarded Inspiration and can even make the coins in their pocket spying devices and inter party communicators with Money Talks at 6th level. At 14th level the secrets of their Draconic tutors unlock fully with Material Resonance which lets the Bard's attuned magical items join their chorus to further improve their abilities and even make their resistances legendary!
