A secret society that has existed since Colonial times in Gotham City. The Court kidnaps child performers from the circus, only to train and transform them into their assassins, known as Talons. Created and controlled by a violent group of some of Gotham City's oldest and wealthiest families, they use murder and money to wield political influence throughout history. Some times protecting the streets of of Gotham with the same duty as Batman, but not the same principles as murder is one of their main tools.
