In-Game Instructions
This historical computerized wargame covers the 12 long days of the battle for Bastogne from 12/16/44 - 12/27/44. Each turn represents approximately 12 hours. You are the commander of the Allied forces; your opponent is the computer which has control of the movement and attacks of the German combat units.
Note: You control the advance/retreat of both the Allied and the German units . . .
How well you command your forces is represented by the score shown on the screen. Each town (*) on the map is worth 1 point. On 12/26/44 AM your score is 49, which means you control 49 towns out of a possible 57. Each time a combat unit enters a town the score is recomputed and updated at the end of each turn . . .
There are two maps, a north map and a south map. Parts of the maps overlap.
