Battle Princess Madelyn - Royal Edition is a refined and updated version of the original Kickstarter-funded indie game. Gone is the dialogue-heavy Story Mode, instead replaced by an expanded and fully redesigned Arcade Mode. With a heavier emphasis on gameplay over story, this version feels a lot more like the Ghosts 'n Goblins homage that the developers had originally envisioned.
