Battle to the Gates of Hell, Bunker Hill June 17, 1775
On the night of June 16th, 1775, Colonel William Prescott of the Massachusetts Army of Observation and his regiment were ordered out onto Charlestown Peninsula under cover of darkness to erect fortifications in preparation of a forthcoming British attack there. Fortune had conspired with the Americans that June in the form of a superior espionage network, allowing the Americans to control and fortify the high ground before the British were even on the peninsula.
Units come in four colors and comprise two different armies.
The Massachusetts Army of Observation is represented by blue colored pieces. Units of the British army are represented by
red, orange and beige colored pieces.
