About Battlegrounds (aka BRPG)
Battlegrounds is a commercially-sold virtual tabletop program that allows people to play role playing games (and now boardgames, wargames, card games, and dice games!) in real-time over the Internet (peer-to-peer), on a LAN, or offline. Battlegrounds is also available via monthly subscriptions, so users have the option to either buy or "rent" licenses.
