The Pacific War, sometimes called the Asia-Pacific War, was the theatre of World War II fought in the Pacific and East Asia. It was fought over a vast area, which included the Pacific Ocean and islands, the South West Pacific, South-East Asia, and in China.

Battles for the Pacific is a low complexity, two player, turn-based war game, which is designed to reflect the key strategic and tactical aspects of naval and land warfare in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. The main combatants in the game are the military forces of Japan, and the United States of America and their allies.

This game is an entry in the 2019 Wargame Print and Play contest.
