This tiny rural settlement lies at the foot of a large hill with a beacon fire at its summit and makes up part of the early warning system for the kingdom to warn of invaders and other dangers.
The largest cottage is home to the Pyre Warden, a low ranking official responsible for always maintaining the readiness of the beacon fire and for ensuring it's lit as soon as a smoke plume from the next beacon in the chain can be seen.
Battle map is 24x36 and has grid/no grid versions in both print (300DPI) and VTT (140dpi) formats.
