Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance is a 3rd person action/fighting video game in which the player takes the role of any of 5 gangsters, running from their boss. The player earns respect on the street by fighting enemies to take down a shadowy organization and become the city's ultimate fighter.
There are numerous moves that the player can use to beat their enemies including hand to hand combat, melee weapon comabat and in the later stages of the game firearms such as pistols and shotguns. Super powerful combination moves are available in certain situations. During the course of the game players can buy clothes and plastic surgery to escape the police. All clothes are available to the player meaning you can dress a male character as female and a female character as male.
In Both Vs modes you can watch battles, fight a CPU, and fight against a friend. The difference between Vs mode normal and custom mode is in custom mode you can chose between the characters you have recruited in your gang. In vs mode normal its only the main characters. You can a have a max of 3 characters to both teams.
