Description

From the back of the book:
"It's the year 1982.
After shooting down an UFO disc over seventy years ago, large parts of Germany and the entire world now lie beneath the sea level which was raised by aquaforming. Today magnificent cities of the past are only sad ruins, home to sharks, Kraken and whales. Climate, flora and fauna have changed. It's a new, largely maritime world.

In 'Bergungskreuzer Möwe' (salvage cruiser Seagull) the players are owners of a salvage cruiser, setting of to the Prussian Sea every day for exciting adventures on and beneath the sea. Treasures wait to be lifted from flooded ruins, ownerless ships want to be tugged to the nearest harbour. Pirates from the English Islands capture freighters, homeless dutchmen cross the sea as nomads and sinister nobles of the oceans plot their dark schemes.

'Bergungskreuzer Möwe' is the winning entry of the first (german) Fate worldbook challenge, written by Günther Lietz. It contains:
- maritime rules
- exciting adventures
- an 80ies mentality with mustaches, perms and shoulder pads."
