Publisher's blurb:
In the far distant future, humanity’s descendants colonized the Milky Way galaxy. Epochs of time and light-centuries of distance created new types and species of humans as innumerable as the stars themselves. Eventually people set their gaze on the colonization of new galaxies as well, but with intergalactic distances too sparse in matter, a network of wormhole relays had to be bridged between galaxies. These relays carried with them an assemblage of stars and other exotic anomalies when they were laid across the void. In time the advanced humans that traversed these wormholes transcended or moved on, leaving closed behind sectors of space to be inhabited by new generations.
Beyond the Stars is a rules-light setup containing a variety of mechanics to fill a colorful sci-fi world. You play as the descendants of humanity exploring a familiar civilization built in the shadows of highly advanced humans that have long since vanished. It can also be used as a supplement for other RPGs to generate dungeons, encounters, names, and other content.
