The Sinister Secret of the Slugmen is a our bonus adventure designed for 4 to 6 2nd-level characters. The adventure is typically playable in about 4 hours. The characters find themselves chasing a bounty hunter who’s gone bad in his search for secret Confederate gold. It is meant to be set anywhere along the Arkansas River, but can be moved around as the judge sees fit. This adventure owes a debt of inspiration to Robert E Howard’s The Horror from the Mound, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Resident Evil 4.
