Released in 1984 and edited further in 1986, it is a post-apocalyptic RPG using ideas similar to the Mad Max film franchise. The game was later re-published in different editions. Bitume is the French word for "asphalt/tarmac", signifying the life on the road. The modern world is destroyed by the arrival of Halley's Comet too close to Earth.
