Bjornigar are a race of giants that have the ability to change into great bears. They have the lifespan of mortal men and can speak in both the common tongue of man as well as the languages of beasts. They do not eat meat and their diets consist mostly of breads and honeys. They trust no one save their own kind and when in bear form are prone to the animalistic rage that a great bear embodies.
