Description

In Blábol, your goal is to create a grammatically correct sentence using the cards in your hand.

There are 156 cards of seven types: nouns, adjectives, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions. All these cards are shuffled together to form the draw deck and each player draws seven cards.

The game is played in turns and on their turn, players have to play cards from their hands to form sentences. They can also add cards to previously played sentences (including those of their opponents) to make them longer and thereby score more points.

The game ends when the draw deck is depleted. Players then score the sentences in front of them: each sentence scores the number of cards used squared (a sentence consisting of eight cards will gain 64 points). Points are then deducted for unplayed cards still in players' hands. The player with the most points becomes the master of Blábol!
