Black Hand is a bluffing and deduction microgame for 3 to 6 players. In it, players take on the role of members of the Black Hand, the secret society responsible for the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and the beginning of World War I. The aim is to correctly guess the correct combination of assassination weapons (pistols, knives, bombs, and poison) required to kill the Archduke. There’s a hitch in the plans, however—there are traitors hidden within the Black Hand, who work for the Crown and are looking to uncover the assassination plot! Players are secretly divided into those loyal to the cause and traitors who seek to thwart the plot to assassinate the Archduke. Players have to determine who they can trust and who is hiding an ulterior motive!
This game was designed to be entered into the 2015 BGG & Geekway to the West Microgame Competition. It is played with 46 mini-cards (each mini-card is half the size of a poker-size playing card).
