Blades of Steel

Blades of Steel is a 5-on-5 hockey game that features 8 teams stemming from real American and Canadian cities. The game features for human-like characters as opposed to more cartoon-like characters.

The game play features only a couple of rules from real-life hockey games, such as icing, fighting, and penalty shots.

Players pass and shoot, with an arrow behind the opposing goalie showing where a player's shot will go.

If a player runs head on into an opposing player multiple times, a fight may occur. Fighting is done in a zoomed-in style where players can block high or low, and punch high or low. After a certain number of punches land, the losing player gets sent to the penalty box for 2 minutes of game time.
