These Seals brought together would allow one to save their realm from the abominations waiting to invade, should they fail their quest, or to mark The Shift realm as a first conquest...
As players progress and level up through the dungeon, so too do the challenging monsters they'll have to face in efforts to return the seal to their gateway.
