Publisher's blurb:
Sequestered away within the folds of a mountain stands a small tower. Few can imagine that it leads deep underground, into a sprawling crypt. Past the cobwebs at the entrance a small stairwell winds into a hallway, guarded by larger-than-life stone figures in robes. The floor is destroyed in sections, but beyond it, stairs lead even further down.
The next floor is filled with sarcophagi, some closed, but all too many broken open. A couple even have the honored dead arranged atop the stone. Small rooms branch off larger ones, while thin corridors wind their way between them chaotically.
More sections of the floor have fallen away in gaping grins, showing glimpses of the level below. Stone stairs lead down to it, with columns holding up the cracking stone ceiling. More rooms filled with the dead await, while water pools in another chamber—alongside a pile of rubble, and disjointed human bones.
Further in, a huge sarcophagus engraved with the figure of a sleeping king waits, his hands clasping a powerful sword.
