Block-A-Shot

This is a two-player, dice-rolling, push your luck micro-game fashioned as Soccer shootout.

Objective: Win a shootout, best of 5. If tied, best of 1 thereafter.

Setup: Both roll a die. Larger number wins. Pick your team and role to start the game - “Shooter” or “Goalie.”

Play: The Shooter rolls the 1st die. The Goalie selects 1 of 4 corners to block using the green pawn. The Shooter rolls the 2nd die. The sum of the dice determines the location of the shot. The Shooter records the result on their team card using pawns. “+” row = goals. “x” row = blocks. Switch roles until there is a winner.
