Blood and Ruby begins just before the abduction of a mysterious gentleman named Marcus Sinclair. On the verge of unearthing a centuries-old secret, he vanishes from a Venetian graveyard. As his sister Ruby Sinclair, you set out to unravel the mystery surrounding your little brother’s disappearance, convinced that something has happened to him.
You quickly learn that Venice is not all that it appears to be and that your family history contains many secrets better left to rot in dark crypts. Striking out across the city to learn more about your past, you discover clues which will lead you toward your brother while tangling you deeper into the intrigues of a curse which has befallen the city’s residents both past and present.
To save your brother, you must also stop the self-serving plans of his abductors — the fate of Venice and the world at large hangs in the balance.
