Promised as a stretch goal during the Kickstarter campaign for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, this 8 bit retro platformer game was released in May 2018. You play as demon hunter Zangetsu out to slay a powerful demon. Along the way, you find other adventurers you can recruit to your cause. Doing so, these new characters become playable. Each have unique abilities that may open up new paths, making the game more or less difficult, and create alternative endings.
