The PCs encounter the blue runner, an insect that is both blue and adept at running. Will the PCs defeat this aerobically inclined insect or find themselves out of breath and victims of death?
This encounter can be set in the Grim Forest of the R series of adventures or run as a standalone encounter in a variety of terrains.
It includes a history/background for the encounter, maps, and monster stats. The companion ZIP file contains JPEG versions of the maps (with and without grid), the Word file of the encounter, and a Fantasy Grounds Unity Module file. As a single blue runner is CR 2, this encounter is suitable for parties of level 2 or higher.
