User summary:

BMX Simulator is a sports arcade video game released by Code Masters in 1986 for several home computer systems. It is notable in that it is the first extreme sports video game. It was followed by two sequels, BMX Simulator 2 and Professional BMX Simulator, and was part of a series of games that included ATV Simulator, Grand Prix Simulator and Professional Ski Simulator.

Game play is an overhead view on a still screen. The track is filled with different objects, such as mud, tires, logs etc. Players race around the course avoiding these objects and each other. The game also featured an "action replay", as the game recorded the inputs from the joysticks and could re-play the race. This could be viewed in slow motion.
