Cards come in four categories: fill-in-the-blank, add-ons, rhyme time, and letter perfect. In the first three, a 'keyword' is announced, and an opposing player or team tries to name the four additional words on the card that are related to the 'keyword' in the same way. That is, all four i) can fill in the blank to form a two-word phrase with the keyword, or ii) can be added to the keyword to form a new word, or iii) can be rhymed with the keyword. In the letter perfect category, the player must name the four words that fit a topic and that use a letter in the same way, eg, boys' names beginning with 'M'.
The team that reads the question also ranks the four items from easiest to hardest. The harder the item, the further forward a team moves for guessing it. Each opposing team gets one chance to name unguessed items.
