From the introduction:
Your party has heard rumors of the fabled Bounty of the Gaping Maw within the Haldorad Wetlands.
Few draw near to this place. Those willing to spend three days in mosquito-choked swamp would find the Gaping Maw, a stone structure shaped like a skull with its mouth open, seeming to warn all adventurers to stay away. Regardless, you have tracked down the treasure to this dungeon, and you are prepared to conquer it.
You enter the great skull, following the steps down its throat until you reach the central chamber. It is a square room with tunnels to the north, west, and east, and the southern wall containing the stairwell is otherwise nondescript. The chamber is quiet aside from the faint echoes of the merciless buzzing and croaking that permeates the swamp above. What do you do first?
