In this game, you play a pirate trying to board vessels and more often, exchanging rounds of cannon fire. The controls are set a bit awkwardly, with Q and E being your broadsides and W and E setting and lowering your sails -- a little crowded in there with two hands-- but you can reset these keys as well. You gauge the wind to get the best advantage on pirate hunters and merchantmen, all the time trying to increase your infamy and prizes.
