I wrote created this micro-adventure because I like bridges. I like the idea of a old bridge that once was a symbol of advancement is now a decaying relic. I've added in local color and possible adventure seeds. And the Broken Bridge Mill is run by a pair of incompetent, but very nice brothers who struggle to maintain the mill.
Like my other micro-locations it can be placed where ever you like, usually I target the in between places that adventurers travel. The brothers could use some help. Maybe the rock on Himbal is not so innocuous. It's possible that the 'Bridge Trolls' found something they weren't expecting? The druids of Vadon have unleashed a creature that has killed travelers on the road. Or could the portal on Vontas allowed something hostile through? All possibilities. And so much more.
