This special Pay What You Want volume presents the Bard class. Loosely interpreted from the Bard supplement found on the Basic Fantasy website, it uses the Bard Song mechanic to grant various effects that can bolster a party's chances of success in the most deadly of circumstances. Other abilities also associated with the Bard are also included, such as persuading others to a particular truth or action and the ability to pull out tidbits of information when most needed.

Several Bard Colleges are also included that tweak the bard's abilities and possibly grant access to additional bard songs.
