From publisher blurb:
Volume VII offers more options for Faith that was introduced in BX Game Options Volume V as well as the Priest class that provides faith to the masses. Humanoids are then covered including the Half-Orc player character race. Advice and options to beef up your goblinoids, orcs, and other humanoids include adding spellcasting options and specialty roles that can be used to add flavor and variety. More mundane and magical items are presented including grenades with various effects, items that interact with faith and mana, and magical musical instruments for bards. Finally, twenty humanoid monsters are presented, built from the options presented earlier in the book
Faith is expanded so characters can share their faith for greater effects, cast cleric spells through their expenditure, and a means to temporarily gain more faith by performing rituals or ceremonies. Two new benedictions are also included as well. The Priest class is similar to the Cleric but focuses more on the use of faith and preaching to the masses so that faith gained may be used to perform miracles.
The section on humanoids includes the Half Orc character race as well as advice on how to make humanoids more effective opposition to higher-level parties. Rules for generating humanoid spell-casters and other specialty roles is provided and then used later on in the issue to present 20 stat blocks and descriptions for the various humanoid races.
Items Mundane and Magical includes several non-magical or minorly magicked grenades that range from blowing up to putting targets to sleep, designed specifically for use by your humanoids to give player-characters a surprise. Items of faith include holy symbols that grant a bit of faith to holy (or unholy) relics that allow the user the ability to cast a spell by sacrificing just a bit of their faith. A couple items that involve mana manipulation are included as well. And finally, several magical musical instruments designed specifically to work with the Bard class presented in BX Game Options Volume V.V.
