Description

From publisher blurb:

Welcome to Volume XII of the BX Game Options. Our dozenth issue delves into the power of the mind with Psionics! The first volume on the subject, the basic rules for dealing with Psionics is presented along with over 30 powers from the discipline of Telepathy. And the issue is wrapped up with the Psionicist, the first psionic class to use the rules presented.

Psionics is presented with rules for dealing with characters possibly having natural psionic abilities, a simple mechanic for handling Psionic Combat including the five typical offensive and defensive psionic powers. The discipline of Telepathy is then covered, including rules for dealing with the fracturing mind for those who continually abuse their own mind while invading the minds of others. Thirty-Two telepathic powers are then given to allow any telepathic character several options to choose, ranging from accessing and altering memories to controlling individuals as little more than puppets. Psionic-based feats are also given for those who want to spend the experience to beef up their mind-bending abilities

The Psionicist class is presented, a class that gains psionic powers including attack and defensive powers as it levels up and a good amount of psychic energy to empower their abilities.

And just so the issue isn't completely one dimensional, optional rules for divine or arcane spell-casters to regain spells during the day by spending time in mediation, prayer, and study and expending faith or mana is given for those that want a little more staying power while down in the dungeon.
