Character's, men of letters and philosophy, have Moves and Signature Moves (somewhat like Skills in a "normal" game) which are used during combat in the cage. Characters also have Traits (somewhat like Attributes). Traits have Levels (numeric ratings) ranging from 2-11, assigned from a point pool.
The game focuses on pugilistic matches between the greatest minds of the species.
