Carnage Heart EXA is a sequel to Carnage Heart. Players are put in charge of an Overkill Engine mech (OKE) during a futuristic war. The mechs are used to fight the war autonomously, and are guided by command chain programs on chips. The player needs to design their command chain before battle, and may not interfere during combat.

Ad-hoc multiplayer is available for up to 6 players.
