Five members of the crew of the Carta Marina, a pirate ship of ill repute, sail through a storm to reunite with their captain, Leon. But the sea monster, the Kraken, wakes up and the ship is attacked and flooded. At the helm of the sinking ship, they arrive at the truth.......
Carta Marina is a co-operative board game for two players. The players are in a pirate ship and constantly have to choose whether to proceed or drain the ship. Will you be able to overcome the threats of waves, floods and whirlpools and reach your destination safely?
On their turn, a player can do up to three actions by playing cards from their hand. There are five actions to choose from:
After completing their actions, players draw cards to determine what hazards the ship will face that round, such as gaping whirlpools, giant waves and floods.
If the players manager to successfully steer, bail and move the ship across the map, they win!
