Scenario: Richelieu has Constance Bonacieux kidnapped and d’Artagnan imprisoned. In prison, he meets Benjamin de la Fère, a Huguenot activist captured for espionage. He reveals to him that an attack against Louis XIII is to take place during Gaston's wedding. Benjamin had sought to warn the King, but was captured and imprisoned by Richelieu, who seemed to protect the conspirators for obscure reasons.
