Catlateral Damage is a first-person video game in which the player plays as a cat. The goal of the game is to knock as many of the player character's owner's belongings onto the floor as possible.[1] There are game modes in which the player can either race against the clock and get a certain number of items onto the floor as fast as they can, score as many points in a 2-minute time-frame, or a free play mode where there is no clock and there are no points. The original build of the game was created by Chris "Chrixeleon" Chung for the August 2013 7DFPS Game Jam. It was there that he met the team at Fire Hose Games who offered to help develop the concept into a full-fledged game. Development began in September 2013 with a successful Kickstarter campaign that ran between June and July of 2014. The full version of the game was released on Steam on May 27, 2015.
But this wasn't enough for the developer or the fans. On September 15, 2021, Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered was released for Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. This definitive edition was rebuilt from the ground up to give a shiny new coat to the destructive feline gameplay of the original. You'll find a complete progression redesign, more objects to topple and interact with, new tasks to complete, persistent stat boosts and abilities, revamped cat models and animations, and 20+ new pet photos for a total of almost 300!
