Sometimes I like when the big baddie is just off screen. A looming force that is more of a suggested threat. In The Cavern of the Lost Legion I've done just that. The Lost Legion is represented by a single ghoul still dressed in armor. The party could very well unleash a ghoul horde if they get too curious. Instead this adventure is about escaping before that happens. A little tick-tock in an adventure is always good.
