Comic book portion:
This issue starts with a knock-down, drag-out fight between DEMON and the Champions for possession of the Hellfire Crown, a powerful magical artifact. Inadvertently, the Champions end up giving the Crown to DEMON. The head Morbane is disgusted when he realizes the artifact is missing the three gems meant to power it. Flare and Giant go on a mission to retrieve on of the stones to keep it out of DEMON's hands. Giant must confront Malice, a dangerous spectral figure from his past, while turning aside Flare's unwanted advances.
