Posing as Dr. Arcane's granddaughter, Donna, the Demon Master gains access to the Champions. Dr. Arcane vows to finally exorcise Malice from Melissa D'Arque's body once and for all by removing her spirit from the Hellfire gems. The unsuspecting Arcane asks for Donna's help. Elsewhere, Foxbat offers to help the real Donna escape from DEMON's clutches. Dr. Arcane enters Melissa D'Arque's mind only to be ambushed by Malice when the Demon Master touches one of the Hellfire gems. Malice vows to destroy the world.
