This is another game of "Great Battles" (WB-95) system which allows 2-6 Players to play German and Soviet operations in summer 1942 and winter 1943. This is second, much enhanced edition of the game that was issued back in 1998.
Game allows to play the fights that occurred during Soviet winter offensive in 1941/1942 and German counter attack that destroyed the pocket and begun the march towards Stalingrad in 1942. Those battles were very intense and maneuver ones due to vast areas and relatively small number of units on both sides.
Second set of scenarios allow to play German counterattack in winter 1943. This one led by elite SS corps broke Soviet defenses and recaptured Kharkov and Belgorod in March 1943. The success of the operation created the silent within one major city inside - Kursk.
