Description
Chess Unbound is a two-player game based on traditional chess. The unique concept in Chess Unbound is that each piece's movement is indicated by the space it occupies on the chessboard. Each space on the game board contains a modular tile that shows a movement style from traditional chess (pawn, knight, rook, etc.). When you move a piece, follow the movement style on its current space. When the piece comes to rest, the space it lands on will indicate how it moves next turn.
The object of the game is to capture your opponent's king. The king piece is the only unique piece in the game, in that it never follows the movement rules of the spaces it occupies (it only moves like a king in traditional chess).
