Description

This game bills itself as being "More simple than chess - More stimulating than checkers". Each player has an army of 10 pieces that are set up in opposite corners on a conventional chess/checker board. The King piece (shaped like a cross) moves like a regular King in chess and is placed in the dark square corner. Two Circle pieces, which move 1 or 2 spaces in any direction, are placed in front of the King. Three Triangle pieces, which can move 3 spaces or fewer along the dark diagonals, are placed in front of the circles. Four Squares, which move 4 spaces or fewer along a rank or file, are placed in front of the triangles.

Players alternate turns. No piece may jump over another piece except when capturing, and to make a capture a piece MUST travel its maximum movement range. To win you must either checkmate your opponent's King, or move your own King onto the corner space that your opponent's King starts the game on.
