This unofficial Poisoned Pages supplement introduces the Chimaerical, a new ancestry for Shadow of the Demon Lord. Chimaerical are sometimes born of humans, but look nothing like their parents, or even each other. Chimaerical have children who are also Chimaerical, but these will look nothing like their parents.
Chimaerical are touched by the Demon Lord's Shadow in the womb and are warped into creatures made from many different ancestries. As such, their appearance and abilities vary from Chimaerical to Chimaerical, depending on what ancestries they are made up from. Chimaerical are created by randomly rolling on tables for different body parts to see what ancestries form each body part. Sometimes, this only affects appearance. Other times, it affects abilities. It's possible to roll up Chimaerical who are either unusually weak or unusually powerful as a result, so be warned.
