People have been going missing and locals are starting to talk.
The tabloid newspapers are spreading rumors, and local folk are warning each other against anyone they think is acting suspiciously or just whoever they have an existing grudge against.
The town is at a tipping point. Can the investigators put a stop to these dissapearances, or will they fall foul themselves of the Church of Chiropteran Wisdom.
The Church of Chiropteran Wisdom
The Church of Chiropteran Wisdom is a short module for Call of Cthulhu 7th edition. Intended to be useful as a diversion or red herring for a campaign, or as a stand alone scenario completable in a few hours.
The PDF includes:
Details of a cult "Church of Chiropteran Wisdom" dedicated to a god they call V’aagh’thesz.
Suggestions of how to entangle the investigators with the cult.
Potential avenues of investigation.
Stats for "bat demon" servants of V’aagh’thesz and the avatar of V’aagh’thesz itself, as well as cult members and NPCs.
The information here is nominally set in a town called Tamworth in Surrey, England. This is however easily swapped out for the location of your choice. The default setting is 1920's. It is left up to the keeper whether V’aagh’thesz is its own entity, or a form of Nyarlathotep's Father of All Bats avatar.
