Druids of the Circle of Parasitism draw inspiration from the most holy of plants, the parasitic mistletoe. They believe strongly in the hierarchy of the foodweb, to the extent that the parasite is seen as the highest form of life, as even top predators have natural parasites. These Druids often view and venerate humanoid nobility and even the gods themselves as forms of parasitic life. They seek to strengthen and protect the natural world in order to provide a robust ecosystem in which a diverse range of parasites may thrive.
This sometimes leads them to work to limit the incursion of civilization, striving to sow seeds of dissent, disorder, decadence, and misplaced productivity that sap the strength of societies hastening the grand cycle of history and their inevitable collapse back into barbarism. Other druids of this circle encourage new settlements and colonies, viewing the imposition of humanoids into natural environments as a form of high level parasitism. More rarely these druids take on the roll of parasite for themselves, living as independent masters of a large territory and using their ability to possess more powerful predators to enforce their dominance over nature.
Druids of this circle are reviled by many other druids for their extreme views.
