"Druids of The Circle of Sap have a greater affinity with plant life than with animal life. These druids have tended plants since time immemorial, discovering secret ways to bond plant and animal life together. Many druids of this circle undergo ancient rituals, passed down from the time of the first trees, to bind themselves to a specific growing plant by exchanging and grafting plant and animal limbs, or to merge themselves entirely with an awakened plant taking on aspects of plant physiology."

This subclass by ECLIPS Games is intended for use in conjunction with the Druid class in the Players Handbook and/or the optional materials presented in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. It is conceptualized as an attempt to create a Druid leaning toward abilities relating to the management of plants and plant creatures. There are also elements of nature ritual bringing a hint of crafting into the subclass - something we may develop further with later subclasses in the series. We have included an NPC statblock for a typical Wandering Circle of Sap Druid for DMs to drop straight into their encounters.

In addition to the specific subclass features for this new Circle, this booklet also contains a selection of optional Druid themed spells that a DM may wish to add to the Druid spell list in their campaign world. These spells have been selected from our own pool of spell designs because we feel they work thematically with this particular subclass.
