From publisher blurb:
When the party returns home, or to any city, they want to relax, have a drink, and typically get into trouble. Whether that trouble is a bar fight, picking pockets, or threatening the local merchants who are gouging them, the city guards are going to show up - what then? Are your PCs in any way concerned about what the city guard wants or do they “know” they can take these guys in a fight?
These types of problems have been a part of FRPGs since they began. When a single fireball can wipe out an entire squad of guardsmen, what can you as a GM do to force the adventurers to be on their best behavior, without making the police incredibly, and unrealistically, powerful? That is the whole point of this edition of Small Bites.
This edition is set in the city of Brinston, but it is written in a generic style that will allow you to easily use these ideas, characters and units in any setting for any game.
If you’re looking for a ton of new ideas, ideas you can easily use in your existing game world or use to craft a new game world, then Small Bites is what you’re looking for. Our goal is to take a subject, whether an archetype, a monster class, or some other FRPG theme and bring you as much content about it as we can. But this isn’t a simple one-shot supplement. We want to get you involved in the process - giving us the themes you want most, the articles you like the best, and the feedback we need to make you happy.
This is the “World Walker” edition. The Game Master edition gives you even more, including ideas about campaigns, enemy characters, and world building. We know that veteran and starting players and game masters are all going to find things they can use, and ideas to spark their characters, campaigns and game worlds! Come on - You’ve got nothing to lose!
